Recurring feature: improved participation in unpredictable environments

Watchlist note, not a pattern and not a conclusion. Recent observations increasingly describe improved participation in dynamic, unpredictable environments — coffee nearly spilling, a stranger speaking at the market, an interruption mid-conversation, a crowd staying a crowd. The environment remains unpredictable; what changed is the relationship to uncertainty. The interruption happens, the system reorganises instantly, the activity continues. This is recovery without disruption rather than uninterrupted flow. Earlier field notes were largely reduction language (less pain, less restriction, less tension). Recent notes increasingly use participation language (more engagement, more responsiveness, more presence, more continuity). Logged here so that, six months from now, it is possible to distinguish what was actually happening from what merely sounded compelling in the moment.

Field Notes are observations, not scientific evidence. The original wording is preserved; later insights are appended below rather than edited into the body above.
