Fascia · The WAMA Lens

The WAMA Lens.

A synthesis layer. Clearly marked as such — not smuggled into the other lenses.

Less a tissue story, more a relationship story

Muscles generate force. Bones provide structure. Nerves provide signaling. Fascia helps connect these systems into a coordinated whole. Through the WAMA Lens, fascia is interesting less for what it is and more for what it does between everything else.

Patterns it makes visible

Fascia surfaces several recurring patterns from the Pattern Atlas:

Three candidate patterns are also under observation — Connectivity, Elasticity, and Tensegrity. They are not yet seeded in the Atlas, and will only be promoted if they continue to recur across enough topics to justify it.

The question it keeps raising

How do local changes influence global function, and how does whole-body organization emerge from interconnected systems? Fascia will not answer that question alone. It is one of the cleaner places to ask it.
